Letters to the Webmaster

Came across your site.

I grew up in Bright, lived there until 1965 when we moved to Fla.

We lived on three different farms  in that time.

One called “Seldom Seen”, another on Carr rd. & the last on Washboard rd. in Logan across from the Becks.

I grew up with the Becks, Callaways, Rincks & Steeles among others.

Went to school at Miller, Logan & Harrison Tsp. school then North Dearborn.

I can only imagine how things have changed, but some things are probably as they were.

To Whom It May Concern:

The Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments is working with the U.S. Census Bureau in reviewing the boundaries of census designated places in Dearborn County in anticipation of the 2010 census. Bright is one of those census designated places.

Attached please find a map showing the boundaries of Bright currently on file with the Census Bureau. Do these boundaries reflect the geographic extent of Bright today? Please examine the boundaries and contact me if you believe the today’s boundaries are different from those depicted on the map.

Hello,

I am looking for sponsors for my son Tristen Binz. Tristen is 6 years old and we are a resident of Bright. Tristen has been racing at lawrenceburg speedway for over a year now and won the championship last year and is currently first in points this year. Tristen races flat track and motocross. He is doing very well this year. Tristen was recently placed on the Channel 9 news under sports of all sorts for his winnings this past friday at lawrenceburg speedway and is also on 96.5 monday mornings when they announce his winnings.

Thank you for your time,

Tiffany Binz

I just recently fell onto this website, I have lived here 5 years and didn’t know this existed.  Awesome idea and job!…I will tell others…

My son Charlie Draughn, a sophomore at EC in Mr. DeGeorge’s class (he is severally handicapped in many ways) is going to John Hopkins Hospital , Baltimore, Md. on March 27 for replacement of his aorta.  He has been found to have Loeys-Dietz syndrome.

Many people know “Charlie” and my other son, Eli through the EC band program and myself through Harrison Junior School where I teach.

He is also cousins to Kristal and TD Studer, Tyler and Megan Hall.  He is a joy to all their friends, too.  My sisters, Judy Vaughn and Jane Caudill, brothers Bob and Rick Greer , nieces Dianna Boggs, Robin Studer, Kelly Smith, Marcus Greer, Shari and Shane Caudill,Scott Hall, and relatives of Tracy McIntosh, Valerie and Duane Hill, all are very connected to Charlie.

I am asking for you all to please keep him in your prayers.

Thank you,
Sue Draughn
