The Future is Bright, Indiana

On July 31, 2009, Peoples Community Bank was closed by the Office of Thrift Supervision and appointed FDIC as the receiver.  First Financial Bank purchased Peoples Community Bank immediately.  The Bright branch was closed on Saturday, August 1 but reopened today, Monday, for regular business as First Financial Bank.  Peoples Community clients should continue to use the Peoples checks and ATM cards and if you previously received any checks and/or ATM cards from First Financial Bank, please destroy them.  You will receive new checks and ATM cards when the conversion of the accounts is complete.  See http://www.bankatfirst.com/welcome/index.htm for more information.
